How did everyone's Valentine's Day plans go/fail?
A good way to get traffic to your site is by getting your site's banner or anything that can get people to your site on one of the popular sites.Example,I had around 20 members in my forum with a member a week or no members a week.I started giving comments on torrentz.com(Torrents are not bad).With every comment I wrote I wrote my site name also.Then I started receiving a hell a lot of traffic.Now I have 140 members with a minimum of 2 members a day.Try it.
I would of thought that the time period would go down by now

Cool! What sort of comments were you giving? Also, on what sort of files?

Well there were some videos and other stuff like some software etc.Look at the top of the list.The most popular keywords,search them get the one at top of the list.Comment about it whether the stuff is real or you need a password that is not there in the file,how is the quality of the video.By giving some info which will help other people.You write comments there with your site's URL,they like your content,will feel the same that the content on your site will be good.So they visit your site then they register.You get members=more posts,more members and more posts lead to popularity of your forum.That is what the owner of the forum will want.The end result will be your forum being very popular.See I said I get at least 2 members a day,I got 7 members today.In the previous post I said I had 140 members now I have 142.And all of this started giving my site on torrentz.com .It is not just that site but giving your site on a popular site will increase popularity of your site.
