While you are waiting for the new translation, have you tried the ported translation I made? (get it here)

The effect will be that you get a "almost translated system". The fields not translated, will show the english language strings (instead of blanks).

(Pleas note: I am not doing any translation for 1.4 (I only ported an old translation, in the waiting for a new real translation)
