Thanks a lot. I'm really going through all of this stuff to make sure my board is at the top of it's game.

Is it recommended to delete the install directory?

Doesn't really matter, if it's locked nobody can access it but I *suppose* there's more chance of someone managing to delete the lock file than upload the while install folder again, and the install folder is always included in the changed files package for an upgrade if it's needed... so I usually delete it but you're not at risk if you don't.

I'll go ahead and delete it. If anything it's just a little more room on the server.
