Well... they actually say don't use TO MUCH TAGS (especially if tags are the same on every page).

I think nobody really cares about tags, so it is not necessary. What means google don't take them into consideration if a real person doesn't.
Everybody can understand it how they want to, but for me, it is not worth it.
