What does link popularity mean ? I searched my site and then searched some other forum based website that are about saltwater fishing and found that the 4 sites I looked up only had popularity on Bing, as did I. Now... how do I get popularity on Google, Yahoo, Blekko and AltaVista? What are those?

I know my site is new and am very confident it will succeed. I just am always looking for ways to improve my site. Any help/advice on this would be great!

Basically it shows how many other websites are linking to your website, the more links you have, the more "popular" your website is. Google Webmaster Tools shows this more accurately.
