Can there be promotion setting for the user groups.
For example I want a regitered member to change his/her group automaticaly after xxx post to another user group.
I guess there is no interest for this

The board I am converting relies on the user promotions and it will be required for me. If the idea has to be dropped, please do inform as I will rather write a plugin for it, in that case.
I just finished writing the task file for it. Marking as included.
This can also be achieved with Forum cash.
Like in my forum they get some forum cash and then they spend that cash to rename their title or activate their avatar.
This also provides more security as newbie's just don't upload anything on my server in form of an avatar.
