Can i delete capcha record in database

Sorry sir for my post in this forum, but I'm using MyBB v.1.2

My database is grow to big and I see it's from table name mybb_captcha (more than 800,000 records).
So If I delete some or all record in this table, it'll effect to my board or not?

My site has 2 categories. Both have the 50 united states listed. Under each state, I need 3 subforums. Is there a way that I can do them just once and just copy them to the others somehow? or do i need to do them one by one?? Thanks

Today I get a pm from one of my members about a problem with the index page. Perhaps anybody can help her.

Maybe you already know from Corry about my problems with the forum: I can use everything, but I can´t open the index page - the link (http://www.ikf-forum.eu/index.php) always brings me back automatically to the portal...

Now I saw at the forum settings this: "HTML is turned off".
I´m not a specialist in those things and so I don´t know if this could maybe be the reason for the problems?
What do you think?

More Effective Spam Control

Despite using Stopforumspam (which is a great plugin), some spammers are finding their way in, even with the Recaptcha in place as well. My forum is themed around a certain TV show. What would be great and effective would be an extra registration field that is a random rotation of easy questions about the series that spambots would not be able to answer.

Anything out there similar to this?

I have an image with link next to logo (the Smommentary link)...and I honestly don't remember where to go to customize the layout and/or styles of everything between. I need to change the image and link, and add a new one.

Big problem when sending Mass E-Mail

I sent a mass e-mail last night for the first time and this morning I was getting complaints of people receiving it over and over again. Every 4-15 minutes. People received around 100 of the same e-mail. You can imagine how annoying that would be if you have your cellphone hooked to your e-mail. Anyways, any idea why this happened? I had the mail set to use the PHP mailer and had to turn it to SMTP with no server info to stop the e-mails from going out.

Also - this didn't happen to everybody. Most people only received the one e-mail as intended.

I just entered in the SMTP info to get the notifications going again and it's not sending them. I know I have the info correct.

If I turn back on PHP mail do you think the forums will start spamming that e-mail again?

If you click the link on the post, you'll find that I edited the header "welcomeblock" for guests to display that message. Unfortunately, it will appear every time I post a link on Facebook. This time it actually works in my favour! It might encourage people to join the site. But I don't want that every time. Any way I can exclude that text and thus not have it show in Facebook?

I might not actually change it anyway, because previously when I linked to a thread on my forum on Facebook, it didn't show any text anyway. I'd just like to know for future reference, just in case, thanks.

How to put space between logo and navigation bar

Help with facebook "like" button image

I added a facebook like button on my showthread template but when the link shows up on facebook it shows the image of the "reply" button on my forum instead of my header logo. How do I make it to where the image that is displayed on facebook is my logo or something better than a pic of my "reply" button?

Newbie - Help Required

Apologies if this is in the wrong location.

I have recently taken over admin for http://www.graysathletic.co.uk/forum and need some assistance.

The security was almost non existant and for the past 3 months I have been banning users, deleting posts etc. I have since obtained access to Admin CP and can delete users one at a time, but have over 9500 to do.

Is there any quick way without upgrading to the new version? Apparently the service I have won't support such version?

If I require help with plugins etc, is there any on here who can perform the tasks for me as I am a little worried about affecting the forum?

I am obviously ok to pay for anyone to assist.

Last page postings not showing issue

This is very odd, but some of my members started complaining that they could not see the latest posts in one of the threads on my forum.

The problem is only in one thread, and does not exist when logged in as an administrator or moderator, but when logged out or logged in as a regular member the last page of the thread containing the latest post does not show up, until it spills over into a new page, then the previous one can be seen.

The only thing I did which could have possible caused the issue was to move several posts from another thread into the one that is having the problem, but that really shouldn't cause any issues.

I've dug through the posts table in the database and can't find anything that could cause the problem there either. I did change the fid's in the posts that were moved to match the fid they were moved into, thinking that could possible be the problem, but it wasn't.

Anybody have a solution or thoughts on what might be causing the problem?
