[F] Editor error(s)

Using IE7 I get the following errors. They should be able to be reproduced here at MyBB's forum.

Error 1. If I click on the php code tag in the editor, then click on the same tag to close the code, It makes the tags backwards as shown in the screen below.

Now, If I use the close link above the tag, the tags come out correct.

Error 2. If you click on a tag anywhere in a post your making, it brings the tag to the last line typed instead of where you want it to go ignoring the breaks in paragraphing for example. I included a screenshot..

Where the empty box is on the screen is where I was attempting to add the new php tag. Instead it threw it back to the last line typed.

I hope I exlpained that well enough. If not please let me know and I will try and do better. All these errors happened here and I can reproduce them. If this has been reported in the past which I couldn't find. I apoligize..

.menu ul has 2 separate classes and when you change the bottom one it overrides the top one. You could just merge them.

i dont know if this is a bug or not but i cant highlight or write anything, well basically i cant edit any template in the admin CP, it shows the letters gray

Not sure what is going on but it's odd.

OK...also checked a second host...same issue. I tried at mybbfans though and it works (same host as mybboard?).

IDIOT ME - Turns out as admin you don't have the min length. As a user account it works though.

So back to original bug then. You can override the limit with whitespace as shown here:

within "mybb_140_beta_4/inc/mailhandlers/smtp.php" I've found a syntax error in line 323:

			if(!$$this->send_data("AUTH LOGIN", 334))

When the error occured I received the message you'll find in the attachment.

Maybe I'm wrong - I think it should be noticed like

			if(!$this->send_data("AUTH LOGIN", 334))

I have a copy of the beta 2 running with sqlite and portal.php just returns the error

This is the first time I update myBB forum. After updated, I found that the utf8 character has change to ??? and the reason is myBB updater commented db_encoding in config file. I don't know why myBB have to comment this line, I had to uncomment it manually after updated

I notice that when we send a PM that a comma is added and that it's used to seperate multiple PM usernames. I decided to test it against a username with a comma. I created the user in admincp "test,user" and sure enough...I can't PM that user.

FYI- tested on beta 2 as I have yet to install beta 4 so my apologies if this is fixed

Hey,

I just installed a MyBB 1.4 Beta board on a site which is actually on 110mb.com

and as you know they don't allow free MySQL. So I used their SQLite and everything went and going smooth,

I just find one problem. When I try to browse :

online.php

I get this error ;

But When I visit : online.php?action=today

It works perfectly, As It is suppose to work

I don't think if it's the problem of Host, because everything works smoother other then this..

And I don't think if it's a Bug because this thing works on my Localhost!

So Please help me

Signatures in posts are not shown for guests. If you remove the exclamation mark in front of $mybb->user in the followong line in inc/functions_post.php it's working fine:
