Then you better get an better FTP client. Recommend SmartFTP since it's free and great.

Could it be that my host isn't providing/supporting .htaccess files? Since I'm on paid hosting, it shouldn't be that.. I was using Ipswitch WS FTP PRO.

If it is using Apache as Server soft it supports it, if not it does not.

For everyone else who is having this problem: use command -a in ws ftp's site manager!

BTW I'm having problems with my <title>no longer beeing displayed, there's a "|" on the top of my forums and when I click a "goto last post" link I get a header already sent error...?

Ahh I see now it's a 'feature' in the plugin to disable titles... why is that? I want my titles back Wink

Is it possible that I have problems with my website now? (due to the -a command?) I upload files to my webspace, but when I go to the website, I get a forbidden error. Everything is chmodded right!
