RE: MyBB vs XenForo
I thought he meant a demo for 1.8 or something...
Could you guys imagine MyBB having similar looks to this: http://www.socialengine.net/ (Only the website design) I think it'll be awesome for MyBB to be the first free open source forum script to really care about their looks. Is anyone with me?

Yes, but they are premium scripts they probably hired some good graphic designers. The dilemma is that for open source/free scripts the designs always look outdated. I think MyBB deserves it as I've said many times, the script is already powerful now we need the looks. How does the MyBB choose their graphic designers? Based on what? I'm pretty sure users like PIxelMonkey would be more than glad to contribute on making sick graphics for MyBB.com and the script

RE: MyBB vs XenForo
IMO mybb already has one of the best designers and themes that show what can be done. They just don't take full advantage of him since they don't want to break themes for minor updates.

RE: MyBB vs XenForo
Not enough good free themes though Alex. I agree with your point - there are very talented designers here. But there's not enough released for free. Without the money or talent to make one yourself; you're very limited.
