Hover Effects on a:visited

It's weird, the effects on a:hover don't take effect on a:visted. It's very weird. How can I fix this?

Example: http://backspacetest.x10.mx

Hover over a link and you get a fade effect, click that link and go back and hover again, no effects anymore.
