Not Solved Text formatting
I just now ran the merge for my official site (phpbb3) and everything went pretty smoothly. There is one issue I haven't figured out how to solve yet and may have missed it in my search on these boards.

Basically, some (though not all) apostrophes are replaced with â. So posts kinda look odd. For example:
"If you'd like" comes out looking like:
"If you’d like"

I wasn't sure if there was a simple query anyone knew of that I could run to fix this easily or not. I'd rather not go through tens of thousands of posts to fix it manually Toungue

Edit: Also found another minor issue in text formatting. Lists are not coming out properly. It simply shows the bbcode:
[list][*]

Not Solved RE: Text formatting
Admin CP -> Templates & Style -> Templates -> *Your theme* -> Ungrouped Templates -> headerinclude
Add
Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />

This might work for your problem as well.
