Custom Profile Fields required for registration?

Hello,

I've though about this. What if we can make some of our custom profile fields are required in order for a member to register, that will make the board spambots free as each forum can have its own fields that bots will not know.

It is good the way it is now, just the ability to make some of them required at registration.

What do you think of my idea?

Yeah, and sometimes I need to make fields required at registration not just for the sake of bots.
It's a good suggestion.

That is already a feature of MyBB.

ACP -> Users and Groups -> Custom Profile Fields -> *Field Name* -> Required

I also look for such a function required DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

I've tried your tip, but it doesn't display any custom field in the registration page...

How can this be done ?

(it is a necesserary feature for our forum, available only for a limited list of members)

Do what christian said.... The ACP isn't the registration process, it's the Admin Control Panel. You have to be in the ACP to do what christian said.
