Wouldn't the POST eventually be recorded though and flood control kick in? I would think if you have flood control set for 1 minute even a fast script only can go so many requests in before flood control records a post. What about something that if flood control is pulled X amount of times in a row by a member in a certain time frame it logs that member out or places them in temp ban for say 1 hour?

Wouldn't that essentially be a flood controller? We can't save the time when a post was last made within thin air, we need to save it somewhere.

Yes but flood control doesnt current ban or log out a user. That's really what I am suggesting for this particular person.

This bug has been fixed in the latest code.
Please note the latest code is not live on the site or for download. An update will be released which contains this fix. |
