Hello!

There is a new WYSIWYG MOD for MyBB 1.2.x. Below is what you will get after you install this MOD

When and where will user see Hoteditor?

• When user post new message - click button
• When user reply a post - click button
• When user click Reply button
• When user click Edit link (work with both Quick Edit and Full Edit)
• Quick Reply (will show Mini Editor (1 toolbar)
• Send Private Message (compose new PM) - click button
• Add/Edit Signature (User CP / Change Signature)

Working with MyBB Ajax Features:

• Ajax Quick Edit: When user click icon / Quick Edit message, he will see Hoteditor
• Ajax MultiQuote: User click button then click link Quote these posts now (see this link under Quick Reply box)
• Auto convert YouTube URL to a Flash

The best part is HotEditor will output pure BBCode instead of HTML code (you don't have to worry about the security issue).

To install this MOD you just need to edit 2 script files inc/class_parser.php and jscripts/thread.js and edit 7 HTML templates (edit template via Admin CP).

The new MOD is very simple to install, you can't make mistake like the early MOD that I made 2 moths ago.

ATTENTION: If you are running the WYSIWYG MOD that I made months ago, then you MUST uninstall it before you install the new MOD. The new MOD (I called it version 4.1) supports the old MOD. That means when you uninstall the old WYSIWYG Mod and install the new one, your board won't mess up.

I'll probably install this right now and see how good it is. The only issue I had with it before was that it wouldn't display Youtube videos when I posted the BBCode in there.

One thing that would be awesome is AJAX Quick Reply on this too

Edit: Dang we have to login to download the file now :\

Second Edit: Downloaded it already and everything seems to be working just fine Before on the old one, my drop down boxes were replaced into just text areas but now it's fixed! Also the Youtube tag didn't work before either and now it does! (There's also a Youtube button on the editor to make it easier to post Youtube vids, which is very awesome, thank you! )

EDIT: I was testing the editor in your demo forum and found a problem, It seems that quoting using the Mult-quote button doesn't work with quoting from other thread, Try this: Click the Mult-quote button, Go back and open another thread, Then start a new reply, It won't ask you to quote the posts you selected from the other thread.

EDIT2: Nevermind, I missed it.

EDIT3: No, It _is_ not working.

Suggestion: A button to check spelling using IEspell would be great.

One more bug: Insert into post button (inserts the attached picture to the post (inline)) doesn't work.

Hello eCardMAX. I mentioned this in the old thread, but I'm still interested in knowing wether or not this mod will support WYSIWYG in Safari (Mac)? If it isn't technically possible that's fine, but I wouldn't mind waiting to install if it was something you had planned to implement.
