Need file name for handling the marking of forums

well iam aware of the problem that when you read a new thread it isnt automatical marked as read and that it is fixed in 1.4
but since noone tell an exact timeline when it comes out iam asking for this:

which files handles the data to automatical mark forums as read?

I believe it was a rather large portion of code that had to be reviewed and re-written, which is why it was never done for the 1.2 series. It possibly required a few files to be edited.

However, I do not know which files would be needed to fix this.

yer i also know its a rather huge code, but iam willing to look through it and i also have some expirenced coder on my side :-)

if we would sucess, i would as well post a bug fix for users for 1.2 until 1.4 comes out

I don't want to sound mean, but if you believe you have someone who can fix it, that someone should be capable of finding the appropriate code that needs changing himself...
