moving my forum on the server
I created a forum in the following subdomain (example): debates.mysite.com
A few postings have already taken place, about a weeks worth of posts, which I would not want to lose. How would I be able to rename my site as I've come to realize that I don't want the forum to be a "debates" forum. I would like to move it to something like: community.mysite.com What would I need to do in my cPanel? Could I retain my db name and just create a new subdomain? If anyone has done this and can share an easy and painless way to do this, it would be awesome. Thank you! |

RE: moving my forum on the server
I did this and it seems to work, although when I login as a user, it shows like its logged me in (redirecting message box pops up) but when it does finish, I'm back at the home page and its asking me to login again, as if I never did it.
Anyone have any ideas? thanks! |

Check that you updated your cookie settings. (08-14-2008 05:40 PM)Chasingu Wrote: Can i do the same? Why not?
