i installed 1.4.1 and when a user posts their avatar, group, rep ect is above their posts! i was wondering how do i get it to go to the left side of posts like @ http://www.endlessparadigm.com/forum and http://movieboxforum.kruzzen.com/index.php ?
i know they are using 1.2.x but i was wondering how do i get 1.4.1 to look like this as it looks much better imo?
thanks for any help Blush

I think this is what you're looking for: go to the Admin CP -> Configuration -> Show Thread Options -> select 'display posts using the classic layout'

It can also be changed in the User CP(by the user).

User CP > Your Profile > Edit Options > Display posts in classic mode (under thread view options) Wink.

The option you select in the Admin CP only applies to guests viewing your boards, and doesn't overrule the option users select.

I don't think so you would need the default profile mod to do that.

You can edit the mybb_users table and change the default value for the classicpostbit column to "1". I guess not being able to inherit the board's default wasn't really considered...

As above posters have said, the ACP setting controls the setting for guests (and new registrations once the next bug fix version is released). The ACP setting is not designed to override the UCP option.
