The PHP4/5 Debate

The PHP4/5 Debate
The Debate whether we should develop for PHP4 or PHP5. So, which is it? I want everyone to possibly post what version they use for their public sites (what you've selected from your hosting company). If everyone could also post up whether your host offers PHP5 and if they offer PHP4 & 5, which would you choose? The answer from everyone would help me a lot when I develop PHP scripts as well as help MyBB. I'm just in this confused stage whether I should go off and learn more about PHP 5's new features or to stick to what I already know, PHP4, which is more primitive.
Best Regards.

RE: The PHP4/5 Debate
Always use the latest (5.2.6), but then I run a dedicated server so I get to choose Toungue

If one had a choice, I don't know why you'd really stick with PHP 4, since practically all scripts built for v4 work on PHP 5.

I thought about putting a poll, but it won't actually give me the answer I'm looking for.

I'm my own host as-well. Big Grin
