Even better, I would suggest wrapping code with pre HTML tags.

I had a problem with that ([code]) tag. I put some HTML in it (for a tutorial) and the HTML, worked, with it being wrapped in the Code tags. So i had to disable HTML for that forum

So code gets parsed inside the code tag, when html is on in that perticular fourm? I would advice reporting this in the bug forum.
I agree with laie_techie. It should be like the php tag |

I've implemented this suggestion. Indenting will now work, and the code is more semantic (=meaningful) as well.
