Ajax on registration
http://yourfreeads.co.cc/forum/member.php
I just noticed that if you try to register on my forum, the ajax isn't working to validate username, email, captcha, etc... Any ideas why? Or where I should look? My Test Forum |

RE: Ajax on registration
If you're clicking that link it's going to be blank, member.php on it's own is always blank.
This will probably be a theme issue, or something missing. Can you set guests to see the default theme so we can test it, make sure xmlhttp.php exists in your forum root, and that your headerinclude default contains everything it needs to by default. Download My Plugins My Personal Site - Twitter |

RE: Ajax on registration
Oh my. I can't believe I didn't pick up on that. I was just heading out of the house though. Hehe.
Agree with Matt above about the default theme for testing purposes.. pie ._. -- Gaming Computers |

RE: Ajax on registration
Mwahaha
![]() I also just noticed that the forum tabs don't work properly, the tab that you're on doesn't change colour, although I know there's a reason other than a javascript problem that can cause that. Maybe view a diff report on the headerinclude template and see if something important isn't missing. Download My Plugins My Personal Site - Twitter |

RE: Ajax on registration
The tabs have been uninstalled, and the header include template contains the exact same things as the default template.
I'm willing to give admin access if someone can help me figure this out. My Test Forum |

RE: Ajax on registration
Sorry to bump this, but I have done everything I know of, but the problem remains.
http://yourfreeads.co.cc So far, I have cleaned up all the bad code on the site. Uploaded all new javascript files uploaded new member.php and xmlhttp.php Uninstalled each plugin to ensure they weren't causing it Can anyone suggest what I can do to get the ajax validation working on the registration page? RE: Ajax on registration
Would have been better to have made your own thread rather than bump one that is over two years old and has been marked as solved, and there is absolutely nothing we can do to help you if you don't post your URL.
Edit: I've just seen you have made a thread, why did you bump one as old as this as well...?? ![]() http://community.mybb.com/thread-91463.html Download My Plugins My Personal Site - Twitter |
