You can convert phpBB with the MyBB Merge System. The Merge System is available from the MyBB downloads page.

When you import attachments, set the URL for your phpbb forum to http://www.mysite.com/forum. You of course have to chance the mysite and the /forum.

The URL should be like this when you upload it to your root
