Paypal IPN plugin - editing help

Hello,

I would like to edit the Paypal IPN so it changes the member's group after they purchase a single item instead of a yearly subscription. I was going to create a paypal button, handle the IPN through a php script, then redirect the user to a php page that should change their member group.
If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it , just a simple php script to change the member's group.

Just alter the form so it doesn't do a subscription. That should work just fine.

I'm a little confused on how to do this, can I get a little help please?
I'm guessing subscribe.php needs to be altered but I don't want to remove any hidden fields without knowing what will happen.
