Signature restiction not working.

I installed this module:

I put in the GID's of the groups that I don't want sig tags.
1,2,7,8,9,10

Some members of course put in sig tags (prior to the module) which is the reason I want them gone for everyone but mods. The sig tags still show in posts for those members. I am also able to sign in (admin login/takeover of the members account) and can change the sig tag without any notice its not allowed.

Am I doing something wrong?

I believe this plugin only prevents users from creating new signatures and doesn't remove current signatures (I'm not completely sure though). I would suggest running a query in MySQL to empty out all of the user's signatures.
