Is this possible?
I just made jar files open with WinRAR, but now I would like to set them to not have anything set to open them. How can I unassociate jar files?

(hope that made sense Confused)

RE: Is this possible?
That shows how to associate them, but not how to unassociate them.

RE: Is this possible?
Why don't you just associate them with another program? I don't see why you'd need the unassociated...

Twinkle Hendleberge thought Earl was pretty cool. Gerry Austin didn't think so, however, so he ran away. My goodness, what is this point of all this? Everything has a point.
p.s. you just lost it

RE: Is this possible?
Tried that:
Open My Computer and under Tools, click Folder options, and then click File types. Scroll down to the extension you want to change file associations for, and then Change or Advanced.

RE: Is this possible?
It's better to tell WinRAR not to associate them than overwrite with Windows. It's in the WinRAR preferences.
