NEED NEW STAFF MEMBERS FOR FORUM

My point is if you would like to have a successful forum that you got to put energy in it instead of acquiring random people from another forum to do all the posting for you. First post some good topics like discussion topics, news, tutorials, resources, etc. That way you get more hits (SEO) and people will have a reason to join.

Than once you have build up a member base pick some members from your forum to be staff, by doing this you will make sure that they are dedicated to the forum instead of giving someone moderator powers without knowing if they will do their jobs or will post at all on your forum.

Their is nothing wrong with asking for support from MyBBoard members but I am just saying that their is no stake for joining. Currently if I would join the staff team I see no personal gain for me, only negatives:

Positive: Nothing that I can think off. Oh wait being in control of an empty forum
Negative: Posting threads and posts for no member base, wasting my time, no fun, no power. And let's face it everyone likes a bit off power .

Maybe when you get 50 members or so you can start picking members to be staff, you should be able to manage the forum alone now. You are just looking for staff so that they post for you but remember staff is here to help you not do all your work!
