Lost the link to "first attachment image as thread icon"

Hey all. Thanks to myBB refusing to work with subdomains (and yes ive tried every single tip/tutorial) Ive wiped my forum to start on a family members business one

now on my old forum Id managed to find a tutorial on how to change a threads image based on the first uploaded attachment and i cannot for the life of me find it again. ive spent 2 hours on google trying. I can change the fid= ones with plugins but I need to find the tutorial that automaticaly changes the tid= to the attachment image.

Please say one of you chaps remember where the tutorial was !
