Which parts of the integration you've included in your code?
only user integration through the external db plugin or the whole solution also with the wordbb plugin?

Just the integration through the external db plugin. Thanks for posting that little snippet that made the external db connect with MyBB. I basically made another option on top of SHA1, MD5, and Other called MyBB, which is default. The only thing that the user has to do is enter the database information and the columns in the user table.

Wow, I made this work in my localhost.

what are the Role check settings? every user is subscriber, even admin of mybb is subscriber or reader , in wordpress. it should login as admin of both.

and one more thing, in first attemp , wordpress does not login, just shows error.
and in second try it works.
