Can't you use "localhost" as your server name? It's like that on most hosts.

No, the link to the database is mysql17.000webhost.com.

Well, I exported the MySQL database from my current webhost via the phpMyAdmin...

I have MyBB set up on my new webhost, I created a new MySQL database, and imported the saved database from my current webhost, how can I set up my forum to use the new database...

You can just run the merge system using that db as the source now that you've imported it to your new host.

ah, I would have never thought of that, lol.

Thanks.

I'll go try it, and let you know how it goes.

Merge worked, some things are incorrect, like some users usergroups, etc, but that's easily fixed...
