Seriously, we have an idea of when we'd like to see it finished - but as every developer knows, timescales and deadlines are some of the fastest things in the known universe. It's probably not going to be in 3 years time or anything as stupid as that; we're well aware of what our competitors are doing and we've planned to make sure that we stay ahead of them as best as we can.

Fair enough, good to know. No matter what I don't think I could ever leave MyBB any more, I've been using it for over a year now and I've tried other forum software's, even paid ones, yet nothing even compares to MyBB. It's awesome! Well worth the wait.

I assume you mean 1.6.6?

It will be released soon. It's currently in a frozen state while we finalize a few features and updates.

The unassigned bugs will be fixed in later releases, so you don't have to worry about that.

Oh silly me, yes 1.6.6 I haven't fixed the announcements bug yet, I'm waiting for the newer version to fix everything

Glad that 1.6.6 will be released soon, and sad that we are getting closer and closer to the end of 1.6 series :'(

Odd numbers are beta. MyBB 1.5 was MyBB 1.6.0 beta IIRC.
