Lot of bugs have been fixed , and there is a lot of good changes
i want to upgrade my forum...
its pretty new forum , so i dont want to do something wrong...
if someone could help me to successfully upgrade my from from 1.6.3 - 1.6.4
its will be great , really appreciated , thanks in advance.
and i should not close the forum first? idk how to close it =S
It is recommended, yes, as well as deactivating all plugins.
Go to Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > Board Online / Offline > Yes.
Turning your board offline via the Board Online / Offline is not recommended. The upgrade process can still be easily interrupted even with this setting on.
Have a search for .htaccess protecting directories, or if you have a cPanel host, you can password protect the directory.
