Hello, I use the captcha for registration currently but still far too many bots manage to spam the site.

What else should I do to reduce bots?

The team is working on a new product called "Spam Ninja" though which will hopefully eliminate the issue with spam.

I'm using Matt's plugin, 'Registration Security Question'

I noticed, after upgrading into 1.6.4... there are so many bots spamming.
Even community.mybb.com encounter the this problem.

Prove: 'view the todays birthday at the index page'

you can stop them from registering but if it´s open to guests read the posts, you´ll need some "htaccess magic"
