Hi there,

some time ago out of the blue I started receiving notifications that there was a new discussion on a forum. No idea where that came from... so, two questions:

1) Where do I set that?
2) Can I get a notification that a new user has joined my forum? I would like that to zap spam users at the outset (even if, since I added a security question, I scarcely got any)

1. for each forum & sub-forum you have to subscribe for the new threads - may be manually OR thru SQL query

2. you can use this plug-in : e-mail about new members
