When I am on the ''Data Cache Building'' part, I get an error that does not let me continue with the update.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method datacache::update_threadprefixes() in /home/thepr/public_html/forums/install/upgrade.php on line 598

Is there anything I can do to fix that?

You didn't upload all the files. Re-upload all of them and run the upgrade script again.

Oh, I just checked the blog post, I used the small update file, now I am uploading the full package to the server.
