My most recent setup. I had a beautiful beach until a while ago. I like my current one very much, though ...

I am using one that comes with XP called ripple, and its not really worth posting.

* Firestryke31 ditched xp for Vista as soon as it came out, and is glad he did.
* Firestryke31 believes most (but not all) anti-Vista sentiment boils down to "it's different!"

On topic: My dual-monitor setup, linked for ****huge (2.85MB after optimization)

Semi-organized, with all the games grouped together, browsers, arty stuff, and then the other crap scattered around. The background rotates to a random HD-or-better pic every 10 or so minutes. My favorite is one of a fox in the snow.

I wasn't too impressed with LXDE. It was light but I found it too boring. Gnome 3 was OTT.

In related news, I get a new monitor for my desktop today! w00t!
