I must look into that. I too find myself having multiple terminal windows open all the time.

The first setting sets the Terminal to always be on the right workspace, and the second setting forces it to be fullscreen.
Then simply add terminal (e.g. gnome-terminal) to your startup applications. Permanent, full screen terminal which is always out of the way.

Actually it's bash, default in Ubuntu.
Lol, I have Stretch turned on. The image is significantly smaller than my desktop.

I still use XP on my desktop - It's the only thing that will run on the hardware I specify
