I saw this:
mySQL error: 2002
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

That's a problem with your webserver, not MyBB. Contact your webhost.
No it was an error that I pasted from MyBB's server...

I noticed the same message on this forum briefly earlier today, but only for a moment or so.

Everything seems to have been fine since then.
I think Chris said when the backup(or something like that) does it's thing the mysql server goes down, but I can't exactly remember. Big Grin
