Hi

I've installed mybb many times but this is the 1st time this has happened.

On the requirements check it keeps telling me that the last 3 folders dont have the correct permissions...even though they have 777...

Any help would be nice

Printscreen your FTP client showing what they're set to, the installer will only say they're not writable if it can't write to them.

What about ./uploads/avatars/ and ./cache/themes/??

Yup, Matt is right, you probably dont have the subfolders chmod's correctly, check all the files listed in the requirements list.

You'll need to ask your host then, if PHP can't write to those folders even though you've set them to be writable, something else is misconfigured somewhere.

Weird, didn't know hosts had such problems too.

Other people have had the same issue, CHMODs are correct but PHP still can't write, it was due to a server configuration issue.

In the php.info file I presume, sometimes they are wrongly configured.......
