Hi, thanks a lot for this wonderful forum software. I enjoy using MyBB very very much.
I am the admin of one forum using MyBB
1. I have disabled registration. But how can I manually added new users? I would like to choose a random password for that user and then he changes that password himself.
2. Instead of displaying "Sorry but you cannot register at this time because the administrator has disabled new account registrations.". Can I add write something of my own there? like "Please read this thread on how to become a member".
3.How to change the background of MyBB. Color White is not good for users eyes, I would like to change it some light green color. How?
4. If someone goes to http://forum.xxxxx.org/install/ or http://forum.xxxx.org/xxxx/, it will display "The requested URL /xxxxx/ was not found on this server." and even displays my server information. Thats a HUGE security risk. How can I redirect users to the homepage if the requested url is not found. I am using Apache and MySQL on Ubuntu 10.10.
5. How to prevent non-members from searching? Searching is too resources-consuming, so I have to disable it for guests.
