Can I change the directory of forum?

e.g if my forum is at

www.example.com/comunity/forum

Is it possible to show my forum as:-
www.example.com

Move the files to the root of your web server and change your MyBB config accordingly.

Config = in inc/config.php

Cookie settings need also to be edited (admin cp)

Does it effects the urls of posts shared on my other website ?

Yes, but you could probably setup a htaccess redirect to fix that.
