not sure which permission to turn on. but i can't view this part of the forum and
the worst thing is that even the admin user can't also view it. any help?

you are getting blank page AND its not related to permissions..
AND a topic in the forum is reachable by clicking its link

it could be due to a problem with database tables AND optimizing / repairing mybb_forums might help

how can i repair it?
any instructions please

^ optimization can be done from admin panel --> tools & maintenance --> Optimize Database

AND table repair needs to be done from database manager (eg. phpmyadmin) at webhost panel

how can i repair tables in phpmyadmin? which tables are these?

seems not working. i've tried optimizing / repairing all tables in phpmyadmin.

^ I understand that only that particular forum is not displaying AND all other forums are okay.
may be an expert (from support team) should check it with required temporary privileges ..
