Hello! I want to know how I can make JUST my shoutbox un-viewable by unregistered members. Can you help me please?

The shoutbox is located right at the top of our forum above all forum categories. Any Ideas?

Also a little side request.

How can i place an additional photo or png file NEXT to the one i have now. PM me for the web address to help.

Thanks!!!
In your admin MyShoutbox can you change everything
{myshoutbox} search for this in your template and replace him where you want (header)
Can I make my entire forum view-able to JUST the registered members?

I want it to allow unregistered people to see only my portal. When the click to see the forum it requests that they Subscribe.

Can someone help, please.
^ NOTE : a new issue not related to the first post on the topic should be posted as a new topic ..

you can edit Guests group and remove permissions to view threads

admin panel --> users & groups --> groups --> guests --> forums & posts
--> viewing options -->
remove selection for the below settings AND save user group settings

Can view threads?
Can search forums?
Can view user profiles?
Can download attachments?

But this won't allow the unregistered user to see any of the threads. I'm looking to just block the chat.
^ your earlier query sounded a different one !!

AND myshoutbox has a setting to allow specific user groups to view it

admin panel --> configuration --> settings --> MyShoutbox -->
Groups allowed to view the shoutbox <-- put here 2,3,4,6

( 2 => members ; 3 => Super Moderators ; 4 => Admins ; 6 => moderators )

Worked! Thank you!
