Would this be applicable to rss2post.php? I would like to have all the feed titles posted be 'noindexed' to prevent duplicate content. Is that how it works, or am I completely lost?
(and if it does work, would it only work for future posting)

Of course, any file you place in that file will not be spidered.
The HTML posted above will only work if your extra file has templates that contain <head> tags.
