Now the posts are showing up fine but the theme is messed up. looks like a cookie setting forum.

The theme not showing is a cache problem.

This is what I have done when I have gotten that problem. Delete the /themes/ directory in the /cache/ folder. Then remake the /themes/ folder inside of the cache folder, and chmod it 777. Now, just re-save global.css of the theme you want.

I have not got a theme. Its the default one. Do i still do this?

I did as the tutorial says but i cannot login to the account so i can't do step 2.

Is ./inc/settings.php CHMOD to 666?
