Should i upadate plugin to the latest version? What type of changes are in 1.6.7 version?

currently i have my url like this /thread-1.html, but i want my url like this /thread-my-post-title.

SEO URL Enabled,
Thread URL scheme: - Thread-{url}

How to get my desired URL

you have to edit the files .htaccess
Has anyone tried it with 1.6.9? I have cPanel SEO Tools already activated. But, I still think of using this plugin.
I use MyBB 1.6.9
Google Seo whereas with version 1.6.5 there is no problem

The functions.php doesn't work with 1.6.9 of MYBB. That's why, I can't use SEO Url.
There is no functions.php in the Google SEO package. If you see one, you are probably looking at the Legacy version of the plugin which is for MyBB 1.4 only. Google SEO 1.6.x patches the functions.php file directly, and that works for all MyBB versions to date.
