Everytime I try to upload an avatar I get this error:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./uploads/avatars/avatar_17.gif): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/scheme/public_html/wiipoint/inc/functions_upload.php on line 266

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/tmp/phpBCIzG9' to './uploads/avatars/avatar_17.gif' in /home/scheme/public_html/wiipoint/inc/functions_upload.php on line 266


How can I fix it?

Ensure that the /uploads/avatars folder is CHMOD to 777
