All right, so I've searched around and I did find a thread similar to what mine will be, but I still have a few questions.
I want to move my forum from "http://myforum.com/forum" to "http://myforum.com/"
Now, I found this:

Quote:You also need to change the board settings. And, as long as you set the settings correctly it will work.

Let's assume you're moving from /Upload to /Forum
ACP > Configuration > General Configuration

Old:
Board URL: http://yourforums.com/Upload

New:
Board URL: http://yourforums.com/Forum

Old:
Cookie Domain: .yourforums.com

New:
Cookie Domain: .yourforums.com

Old:
Cookie Path: /Upload

New:
Cookie Path: /Forum

Then save and move the files.
and
Quote:If you're going from yoursite.com/upload/ to just yoursite.com/, remove /upload from the end of the Board URL, and change the cookie path to /

Very helpful. But what do I change in the file manager? Anything? And the databases...or anywhere else. I know I'll have to kill the Wordpress stuff that's currently located in the URL I want to move my forum too.
I just want to be positive I get this right and not mess up my MyBB installation, since I'm somewhat of a newbie.

Thanks to anyone who gives advice.

yes, you have to completely remove wordpress OR you might like to move it to a sub-directory
AND move the contents of your /forum to the root folder. Also you have to put correct paths
for myBB installation in inc/settings.php file
