How members can send join request to a leader?

I asked how users can send join request to a leader.
assume i am an user and I want to join a group. how can i send a request?

^ user control panel --> Group memberships --> groups you can join --> join group

But my Group memberships have not groups you can join.

How can i add this??

admin panel --> users & groups --> groups --> click on a group to edit

--> find settings for Publicly Joinable Options
Yes, users can freely join and leave this group
Yes, all new join requests need to be moderated first
Yes, users can set this group as their display group
