Ive had my laptop for just under two years now. I have used it almost every day since getting it. Now when anything gets used excessively it is inevitable that parts are going to get damaged. I never expected the hinge to break though. When I took off the plastic to see what was wrong I found the hinge had completely snapped off. The only way to fix it with tools at hand would have been to weld the rest of the hinge back on (didn't do it, not brave or stupid enough). So about a month ago, I ordered the spare parts and today I got a phone call to tell me the parts are now in stock and will be sent in a couple of days! I will no longer need a wall to rest my screen against. I will be mobile again!

Why go through all that trouble when you can just give me your current laptop and go buy a new one for yourself?
