I want to change what thread shows up in the portal page, it asks to list forum ID # but I can't figure out the # to which thread I want to display.

My website is www.tortoiseinfo.org

I only can get SOME threads to show, but not the one I want.

Please help.

You can't show individual threads.

Hi,

When you click on a forum link to display a list of topics (Such as clicking on the introductions link on the forum page) will show the ID in the url bar.

An example, your introductions link is:

http://tortoiseinfo.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=14

That means the ID for the introductions forum is 14.

Thanks for the information. The only problem I have now, is how do I KEEP on of the forums at the TOP of my portal? I'm showing two forums on my home page but I want one of them to stay at the top. It's like my Welcome Thread.
